Meta describes boosted posts as ads made from posts already on your Page, and new ads as campaigns built from new creative. The difference shows up in what you get back.
Fast and simple: pick a post, a budget and a few days, and Meta shows it to more people. It is a fine way to push a post that already got comments and shares. But the post was written for people who already follow you, and the setup gives you fewer choices about the goal and the audience. One more catch: Meta says boosting from the Facebook app on an iPhone or iPad can add a 30% Apple service fee on the ad payment.
Starts from the result you want, such as leads, calls or booked appointments, then builds the creative, the audience and the landing page or lead form around it. It takes more setup, which is the part we do: the Meta pixel and lead tracking go in first, so the report shows what each dollar produced instead of reach and likes.

Boosting is the quick version: Meta takes a post already on your Page and shows it to more people. A campaign built in Ads Manager starts from new creative and gives you more control over the objective, the audience and where the ad shows. Boosting a post that already did well is fine; for leads, a campaign built for leads usually beats it.
Yes. Meta lets you choose cities and regions or draw a radius around a location, and you can reach people who live there or were recently there. Meta also says complete accuracy is not guaranteed, so we check where results actually came from and tighten the area when needed.
Work backwards from what a customer is worth. If a new customer is worth $1,000, you will spend 10% of it to win one, and one in four leads becomes a customer, you can pay up to $25 per lead. That is an example of the math, not a quote; your numbers set the budget, and we adjust it against real leads.
Yes. Facebook and Instagram ads are bought in the same Meta account, so one campaign can run on both. We watch which placement brings the leads and move the budget toward it.
